1.   Installation INFORMIX IDS 9.4

informix:x:1002:

useradd -c "Databaseadmin" -d /ag/INF94 -g informix -s /bin/bash -m -u 1001 -o informix

bash-2.05$ export INFORMIXDIR=/ag/INF94
bash-2.05$ pwd
/ag/INF94
bash-2.05$ ls -la
insgesamt 192340
drwxr-x---    2 informix informix     4096 Dez  1 21:47 .
drwxr-xr-x    9 root     root         4096 Dez  1 21:47 ..
-rw-r-r-    1 informix informix 196751360 Dez  1 00:36 IBM.IDS.9.40.UC2E1.cpi
bash-2.05$

Als ?informix" ausführen:  bash-2.05$ cpio -i <IBM.IDS.9.40.UC2E1.cpi
384280 blocks
bash-2.05$ ls -la
insgesamt 384692
drwxr-x---    2 informix informix     4096 Dez  1 21:58 .
drwxr-xr-x    9 root     root         4096 Dez  1 21:47 ..
-rw-rw-rw-    1 informix informix 36019200 Dez  1 21:58 Gls.cpi
-rw-r-r-    1 informix informix 196751360 Dez  1 00:36 IBM.IDS.9.40.UC2E1.cpi
-rw-rw-rw-    1 informix informix 157992960 Dez  1 21:58 IDSServer.cpi
-rwxr-xr-x    1 informix informix    13130 Dez  1 21:58 install_gls
-rwxr-xr-x    1 informix informix    13517 Dez  1 21:58 install_msg
-rwxr-xr-x    1 informix informix    23182 Dez  1 21:58 installserver
-rw-rw-rw-    1 informix informix  2688000 Dez  1 21:58 Message.cpi
bash-2.05$

bash-2.05$ . /usr/local/sct/INF94
bash-2.05$ cd /ag/INF94
bash-2.05$ touch online_root
bash-2.05$ chmod 770 online_root
bash-2.05$ oninit -i

This action will initialize IBM Informix Dynamic Server;
any existing IBM Informix Dynamic Server databases will NOT be accessible -
Do you wish to continue (y/n)? y
bash-2.05$ ls -la online_root
-rwxrwx---    1 root     informix 81920000 Dez  4 08:51 online_root
bash-2.05$

(-i wie initialisieren). Danach gelten folgende Befehle:

1.6.                   Starten und Stoppen des Onlinesystems

#onlinemodus (aus offlinemodus)

oninit
#offlinemodus

#der Schalter -y unterdrückt die Sicherheitsabfrage!

onmode -ky

#quiecentmodus

#der Schalter -y unterdrückt die Sicherheitsabfrage!

onmode -sy
#onlinemodus aus offline oder quiecentmodus

onmode -m

case $1 in
        start)
                . /usr/local/sct/INF94
                oninit
                ;;
        stop)
                . /usr/local/sct/INF94
                onmode -ky
                ;;
        status)
                . /usr/local/sct/INF94
                onstat -h|grep Informix
                ;;
        *)
                echo "USAGE: $0" '<start|stop|status>'
                ;;
esac

/etc/rc.d/rc5.d
Hier sind folgende Befehle anzuwenden:  root@Q9JB7:/etc/rc.d/rc3.d# ln -s ../init.d/INF94 S10_INF94
root@Q9JB7:/etc/rc.d/rc3.d# ln -s ../init.d/INF94 K10_INF94

2.   Installation des Client Software Development Kit (CSDK) incl. esql/c

bash-2.05$ . /usr/local/sct/INF94
bash-2.05$ cd /ag/INF94
bash-2.05$ tar -xf clientsdk.2.81.UC2.LINUX.tar
bash-2.05$ rm install_gls install_msg #alte Installationsdateien löschen
bash-2.05$ cpio -i <csdk.cpi
bash-2.05$ ./installclientsdk

Is ClientSDK being installed along with Informix database server
version 9.x (required to be run as user "informix")?
(yes or no)
yes
 Hinweis:

bash-2.05$ ./a.out
./a.out: error while loading shared libraries: libifsql.so: cannot open shared o
bject file: No such file or directory
bash-2.05$

Abhilfe:

bash-2.05$ cp ld.so.conf ld.so.con.sik #Sicherungskopie erstellen
bash-2.05$ echo /ag/INF94/lib >>ld.so.conf
bash-2.05$ echo /ag/INF94/lib/esql >>ld.so.conf
bash-2.05$ ldconfig

Ich hoffe alles ist bestens!
Freundliche Grüße

Klaus Keipke
